Gabi began officially making music at 23, but songwriting has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. Her journey traces back to 2019, when at just 18 years old, a flyer for the American Songwriters Contest unexpectedly crossed her path. Instantly drawn to the opportunity, she convinced her father to let her enter the competition.

Although her family was stationed in Germany due to her father’s service in the Marines, distance proved to be no obstacle. With his support and belief in her talent, Gabi entered the contest and ultimately placed 19th — an early milestone that led to securing a publishing deal with Broadcast Music, opening the door for her to write for other artists.

Years later, in early 2025, encouragement from Aaliyah pushed Gabi to take a new leap: recording and releasing her own music. Teaming up with longtime friend and collaborator Caleb Warren, she created her debut single, “i hate feelings.” The release marked a turning point, gaining momentum and capturing industry attention.

Following the success of the single, the head of Sound of Berlin Records (formerly FLEXX Music) took interest in Gabi’s artistry, leading to her signing shortly after the release of her debut EP, “a girl from nyc.” From that moment forward, Gabi immersed herself fully in her craft, dedicating herself to making music multiple times a week while refining and shaping her evolving sound.

Though her early work leaned toward country-pop influences, Gabi’s artistic direction soon transformed into a distinctive blend of cottagecore pop and orchestral pop — a style defined by emotional depth, cinematic textures, and vulnerability.

In 2026, she introduced the lead single from her forthcoming debut album, “learning how to hurt,” a deeply personal release that resonated with listeners, earning support from her community and securing local radio play. She followed with “twenty five & lost,” a reflective exploration of identity, growth, and the quiet disorientation that can accompany adulthood.

With an anticipated Summer 2026 release, Gabi’s debut album, “the pain made me pretty,” represents a powerful narrative shift — transforming themes of heartbreak into self-awareness, resilience, and reclamation of light.
